American Legion Post 392
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, wartime veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness. We are a not-for-profit community service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members, men and women, in nearly 15,000 American Legion posts worldwide.
In contrast to other veterans organizations, the Legion offers a number of local programs and activities to strengthen its commitment to our nation's grass roots and the people we serve.
American Legion Baseball is one of the nation's most successful amateur athletic programs; it continues to educate youths on the importance of sportsmanship and develops the quality of our country's citizenship
The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. They can be found participating in parades, partaking in motorcycling events, and supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play. Members of the ALR come from the Legion, the Legion Auxilliary, and the Sons of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders were formed to participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the Aims and Purposes of the American Legion.
To promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest. To use our association to promote and support programs of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders is not an M/C, and does not practice M/C rules or regulations.
AMVETS Riders is a veteran's motorcycle riding organization meant to promote the aims and goals of AMVETS. Chapter 2298 was formed in March of 2006, the first in Florida. Since that time, we have participated in a variety of organized "Runs" to promote the riders as a group, support the local community, and raise funds for veteran's causes. Our membership is growing every day and includes experienced riders, new riders, and a few old fogies. Whatever we do, we have fun doing it! Please take a moment to view our activities block and maybe you'll decide to come join us!
We are an all women's motorcycle group in Panama City, Florida. Our organization is for women of all ages. We do not require that you own or even ride a motorcycle, but do share the love of the open road, biker camaraderie, and enjoy the sound of motorcycles . We support many charities, primarily Breast Cancer. Each October our membership sponsors "The Tickled Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Poker Run" which proceeds benefit "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer". We meet on the first Monday of each month at different locations around Panama City and Panama City Beach. Thunder Angels Events
