Spring 2011 Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally IS Here!

Now that the rally momentum is just about in full swing here at the Beach, we will be out and about catching the action!

April 24th 2011 - HAPPY EASTER!!
A busy day yesterday! Two brand new activities going on and what we would see as brand new traditions that will occur on the weekends prior to the main rally events! All the more reason to make plans to come a little early next time.
The 1st annual March of Dimes Bikers for Babies Ride got off to a great start, this now to be annual event will certainly only continue to grow going into next year! In case you missed the ride yesterday there will be another chance to help support this great cause. On Saturday April 30th, there is a Poker Run scheduled to Start at the Boardwalk Beach Resort, head out to Mexico Beach then return to the Boardwalk in time for the Saturday activities and entertainment! The Ride will leave the Boardwalk at 10 AM.
Next up, the Knot Hole Bike Meet. Made the trip out to the Knot Hole in the afternoon.. more detail and photos coming today!

A great start for the 1st Annual March of Dimes Bikers for Babies Ride! As of this writing it is not even over yet! Details and more photos to be added in the next day or two. If you didn't make it today, there will be another chance to participate on Saturday April 30th for a Poker Run out to Mexico Beach. All the details here tomorrow! Photos Here
Next up... today we just posted a list of local Biker Friendly Establishments. We have been out and about quite a bit lately personally visiting as many places as we have the time for. Look for many more to be added on an ongoing basis. These listings are not advertisements, just our way to provide more info on where you can go and know they will be Biker Friendly!

The Knot Hole Bike Meet will be this sat April 23 gates open at 11am. There will be live music, games, prizes, air boat rides, vendors and great food.
The Knot Hole is on River Run Resorts property which has 150 RV river front camp sites for those who would like to stay over night.

Less than a week to Go! We are all looking forward to a great Spring Rally, The weather forecast looks GREAT! Mid 80's mostly sunny, doesn't get better than that!
We will have a printable Rally Map, the latest Schedule, and a printable list of all the Biker Friendly- Bikers Welcome businesses in the area. We will post the links here when they are up!

All you need to do to enter is go to this page, click that "LIKE" button if you haven't already, upload your photo and you are entered!!
The staff of PCB Rally.com and Borderline Photography will choose our three favorite submissions based on look, style, customization and the bikes overall "cool" factor!
The judges favorite bike will receive A Free Bike Portrait Session in our brand new Studio and a 16x24 Fine Art Print Wrapped Canvas of Your Bike worth $250*! Borderline can arrange for one of the many bikini models we work with that will be happy to pose with your bike if ya want!
That said, the session doesn't have to be all about the bike and/or the model. Sure...we'll shoot the bike up, down and six ways to Sunday, but this is also about the person who owns the bike so make sure you're wearing your leathers! Feel free to bring your Better Half, your Other Half, your little one(s) or your little dog too and get a totally unique, one of a kind photograph!
The session is to take place on Saturday April 30th, 2011 at Borderline Photography's brand new Hot Rod & Motorcycle Portrait Studio in Panama City Beach!
All three bikes chosen will receive a Complimentary Photo Session with Borderline Photography and PCBRally.com's beautiful 2011 Spring Rally Poster Model Laura Roof. Borderline is also throwing in a $50 Credit that is valid towards a print or set of prints!

Only a week to go, The weather is great & looking good going into next week! Mid 80's & plenty of Sunshine! We are looking forward to the early arrivals this weekend, looking for something to do? This coming Saturday is the 1st Annual March of Dimes "Bikers for Babies" Ride. Also If you arrive a bit early head on over to Ms. Newby's for some pre-rally partying! You could also head for the Sandpiper Beacon on Tuesday April 26th to rock with Mustang Sally!

Today's News!
Things are shaping up for the Rally but we thought to let you know there are some great activities also planned for the weekend before. That would be the weekend of April 22nd,23rd, and 24th, Here is the first activity that may inspire you to be here early, we will have another one to annouce here later today or tomorrow morning!

When it comes to welcoming the rally crowd to town, two places immediately come to mind as where you should be. on Wednesday night, April 27th.
The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort and of course the Boardwalk Beach Resort!
The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort has for years been the traditional place for the first big party event of the Rally, once again they plan to do it right with 345 Express, Big Engine, and Mustang Sally. It's a first for Big Engine at the Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally, they are a popular band at Rallies around the country!
Over at the Boardwalk Beach Resort a big welcome party is also in the works! Rock with Atlanta's No Sweat in the Pavillion by the Beach. Also a first Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally appearance for this band.
Good Times, Great Music, Right on the Beach

In other News we just receive some finalized info from our friends at Full Throttle Magazine and their planned activites at the Boardwalk, We should have it completed and online by the end of the day!

We certainly are looking forward to the traditional Kick Off Party with Mustang Sally on Wednesday April 27th at the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort, always a great time! If you plan to arrive a little early you can also catch Mustang Sally on Tuesday April 26th, One of the most traditional rally locations, the Sandpiper Beacon offers in addition to the great entertainment, numerous vendors, activities, daily body painting in the Tiki Bar, drink specials, and of course a very nice stretch of the Beach to catch a little sunshine!
Activities will also be commencing over at the Boardwalk Beach Resort on Wednesday April 27th, we are sure Randy and the rest of the Full Throttle Magazine crew are just as excited to get things rolling too! You can once again expect to see the convention center and immediate outside lots stuffed with all your favorite vendors, open from 9 to 9! Randy & Crew plan to keep the party, music, and events going non-stop all weekend! It all begins with a wednesday night welcome party, followed up by the Thunder Thursday Bike show, Miss Full Throttle Pageant, and alot more! We should be receiving finalized updates from them this week.
It just isn't a Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally experience unless you at some point Get "Newbified"!! The folks over at Ms. Newby's are (as always) planning for a great week long Rally party! The music starts on Tuesday April 26th with Big Mike and the Booty Papa's and the activities continue right on through Sunday. Expect to have a great time there, see plenty of vendors, and of course be sure to attend what has become a new tradition there, The Old School Bike Show, Presented by Scott Davis of Hawgbody's custom paint and Ms. Newby's.
Beyond that, there are many things planned up and down the beach which we will be adding here right up until the Rally begins, Once the Rally kicks off we will post any updates, latest changes, and photos that we have time for. While you are here be sure to tune in to our friends over at Arrow 95.9 for what's happening at the moment and the latest in rally activities, we will have their live remote locations posted soon!
