Big Engine at the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort
Even after playing over 200 shows a year, people just can't get enough of Big Engine's nitrous fueled shows and the high energy music that brings down the house night after night. Along with the die-hard fans that follow the boys from town to town, uninitiated newcomers seldom last the entirety of the show without raising their fists in the air and singing along to the band's catchy choruses and instantly memorable lyrics. These road warriors travel the country, bringing the party with crowd favorites: "That Girl's a Freak," "Turn It On," "Shake That Thing," "Party Like A Rock Star" and "Sister Mary." In good company, Big Engine has made friends by sharing the stage with Buckcherry, Motorhead, Bret Michaels, Vince Neil, Charlie Daniels, 38 Special, Ted Nugent, Shooter Jennings, and countless other national acts. Needless to say, they have amassed an army of gear heads, bikers, and race fans from the infamous Daytona and Sturgis bike rallies as well as NASCAR races.
Mustang Sally - Performing at the Sandpiper Beacon Tiki Bar
Mustang Sally has performed alongside high profile names such as Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, and Blake Shelton, in addition to being demanded worldwide as fair and festival headliners, receiving a standing ovation at the Kickin' Up Kountry Festival in Thief River Falls, MN, and playing to sold out crowds at the Havelock Country Jamboree in Havelock, Ontario. They routinely perform over 200 dates a year, and have toured the U.S. from coast to coast, as well as Europe and Asia. At the time of the on-line release of their debut self-titled album on GMG/Universal Records, the ladies were featured in Country Weekly Magazine and gave the magazine staff a private concert.
Mustang Sally's dedication to their fans can be seen at every show; post-show autograph lines often look more like family reunions as the ladies joke and catch up with returning audience members. Lead singer Tobi Lee puts it best: "We have the best job in the world, and without our fans, we wouldn't work!"
Haley & Alexis at Ms. Newby's
"Go Big or Go Home!!!".... The motto of The Haley & Alexis Band. These dedicated and versatile performing artists demonstrate this motto at every performance. Their command of the stage, unique vocals, audience rapport and excellent musicianship always leaves the audience wanting more.
Their multifaceted sound fluently combines musical styles ranging from their first love of new modern country and traditional country of yesteryear to even a little blue grass, pop, rock, and a hint of jazz. Using their personal stories, thoughts and insights, Haley and Alexis are honing their skills as musicians and love to perform their music live.
Barbed Wire Creek at the Salty Goat Saloon
Founded in the community of Bayou George , Florida, Barbed Wire Creek is a hard rockin' country/southern rock quartet featuring a heavy hitting rhythm section and screaming harmonizing guitars. The band consists of members Cody "Cooder" Bennett , Lead Vocals and Guitars, Jake Schmidt, Guitars, Sandip "Sandi" Roy, Bass Guitar, and Scott "Big Nasty" Fryer, Drums, Backup Vocals.
Cody is a Florida native, learning to play guitar at a young age, he was mentored by veteran local players, then progressed into his own style, Stevie Ray Vaughn was the soul inspiration for Cody picking up a guitar, as evidenced by his signature hard, bluesy licks. His musical tastes range from SRV, Merle Haggard and George Jones, to Motley Crue and Social Distortion. His gritty vocals give the band a unique, blue-collar edge to it's sound to match his workin' man guitar playing.
Jake originates from Huntington,Texas. Ironically, Jake parallels Cody in having Stevie Ray Vaughn as his main influence. Jake started shredding at age 9. We are proud to say that after completing high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and continues to serve Active Duty as an aircraft technician. Jake's melodic playing style creates a very full sound and adds texture to the overall mix.
